B.c tactical v.s NEA handguard vz 58

i like the NEA upper and BCT lower...never seem them together, probably look stupid...either way BCT, i hear(from a dealer), is not making them anymore and i think NEA hasn't manufactured a run of there handguards for a while....

I have an NEA upper and would like to get a NEA lower, who sells them by themselves? They are either sold out, or sell as a pair.
NEA has them on their site for $86, but they are sold out on the 2" rails. A guy can't catch a break these days, have to order from 2 different places and pay shipping twice.

I got my NEA 2'' rails from Ryan at SFRC.

The lower hand guard from NEA is hideous IMO

Personally I would just get their upper

I spoke to the guy at B.C. Tactical. He said that the previous line is out of production, but they are currently developing a re-designed version that will be released in the future.

Weve made a pile.. They just dont stay in stock long. We sold 500 of them in the first quarter already.

.. And we're out of stock again.

WoW!
You do know that NEA has a contract with not only CzechPoint USA but also TROY Industries and soon to be Zahal for this handguard set. Hell I am still suprised they even still sell in Canada with all the demand for them down south.
Plus as soon as I read this guess who I seen @ Poco today test firing something new...

Thatz right the owner of B.C. Tactical.
He said that he did an enite re-design and the blue stuff was sprayed on the rails to see were the contact points were and if there was any un-forseen issue's with it.
This guy was nutz! He came up there and in under an hour ripped threw 500 rounds and like 5 different red dot's. The barrel's on the 2 rifles that he was shooting were so hot that he was complaining that it was hot to hold so he needed to use gloves. I guess thats why we barely ever hear of issues with these handguard set cause this guy was so anal in the testing process. I asked him when these new handguards were going to be released and he said very soon. Witch I am supper glad cause I got an spare 858 that is ready for a Dlask re-barrel job and one of these "new" handguard sets.
Oh ya I asked him about that muzzle brake he had. He said that he only makes it for him self as that there is not enough demand for them. I asked him to let me try it and dam was it great for a snub nose muzzle break. By far the best brake I have used to date for this rifle platform. Although I offered him cash on the spot for it he laughed at me and told me to keep on dreaming. I hope if he reads this that he might change his mind cause this thing
