The antique howdah pistol @mega range of 9 yards.
The far right & high bullet holes were with patch lubed with spit.
Used TC No. 13 and the group kind of shifted left and tightened up somewhat.
That big ragged hole is from 6 shots.
Yeah, she's no tackdriver, but this certainly would deliver a migraine X's 2 to the unwanted jungle kitty kat. :)
BTW, it works out to about 18 gauge or thereabouts.

fun fun fun............

What's the brush for??
It's a pick & brush for cleaning carbon residue out of the nipple positions where the caps sit upon.
I actually meant to bring the smaller pick & brass brush because it's much better for cleaning black powder carbon off gunmetal.
The one you see here is the second best one, a bigger steel pick & horsehair brush. At the other end of the brass chain is the small pick.
All this BP stuff begins life at my newest crackhouse: Track of the Wolf. :D

Thanks guys!

I'm glad to see you have it out and shooting lotsa fun that old beast;)
It's a robust and heavy barreled monster very nice.

Shoots minute of tiger - that is the whole point of the howdah gun...
Very nice gun,
very good shooting
I envy you.
