I just finished putting my Marauder kit on one of my 1022`s and everything went together quite easily ,Tried my Butler creek mag ,it worked fine ,then put the marauder mag in ,it clicked in just like the Butler mag but it won`t come out .Anyone have a suggestion as to how to get it out without destroying the mag or the stock ?

No idea if this will work or not.... but have you tried manually cycling the charging handle? and then leaving it open before trying to remove the mag?

gump132 , I`ve tried that and everything else I could think of , the mag release works ,I can see the mag plunger retracting but the mag won`t come out .

Finally manage to get the mag cover off and then disassembled the stock and removed the trigger mechanism . Once that was done I was able to see that the housing on the mag had a kick out on one side that was not flat and made the mag too wide . After some filing and sanding and testing the fit ,I finally got it to the point that it comes out easily when the mag release is pushed .

I'm ordering one of these kits too and will look out for mag finishing problems. Thanks for the info, trip. Any other problems you've noticed?

Jayfries , when you get your kit it will drop in but you`ll need to massage the parts a bit , test fit the action and other parts before final assembly ,sand or file any places where there`s binding ,and heat gun will help as well as there may be shrinkage from the molding process .
