This guy from LakeCowichan was fishing this week on the Cowichan river outside of Skutz falls. It was his first ever fly-fishing venture. A crowd gathered on the gravel road to take pictures, including a guy from the gazette.

Whoaa!!....How cool is that, go fly-fishing and catch a bull Elk.

I seriously doubt this nit wit knows how dangerous this can be.

I'm calling Photo shopped... look at the lighting and scale/size differences a bull Elk is much bigger then a human.

Not to mention having lived in that area for 6 years there is no way those Elk will let you get that close to them, nor would you want to be. :D

pictures from email

The first time i saw those photos was last fall and the location was Colorado.

like most of the internet stuff...... who knows the actual origin or ???

Lucky...

I figured it was fake as soon as I saw it. Looks like the water isn't even flowing if you look at the elks feet

Kinda strange a bull elk would have a full rack with no velvet in early April. Plus there all wading in a area marked no tresspassing. Neither the fisherman or elk can read I guess. :D

elk often carry horns well into april before dropping them.
