Mosin's from Tradex

I was just wondering if anyone here has ever dealt with "TradeEx Canada".

The reason I am asking is because I am interested in purchasing a Mosin from them ( http://www.shop.tradeexcanada.com/content/mosin-nagant-m9130-rifles-hexagon-receiver-762x54r ) and from what I hear (especially for the hex receiver type), this is a good deal.

My area of concern is that I would get a rifle that was either not matching or not what they claimed it to be. I realize they (claim to) have a great return policy and if I wasn't happy I could return the rifle, but I figured maybe someone on here could save me the grief.

I'd just give them a call. They have a good reputation and probably a decent return policy. It's only the big chains I find that won't return new guns, and that's for lawyer reasons.
 
I'll vouch for TEC. I have purchased 3 handguns and misc accessories from them. All items arrived as described, some even better than anticipated. Order turn-a-round was quick. No issues what so ever. Great people to deal with.

If you have specifice concerns pertaining to your puchase, email them your questions. I'm sure you will receive a quick and accurate response.

Yup, Tradex is great to deal with. You have to call them anyway to give them your credit card info for purchase so just give them a call and let them know what you're specifically looking for.

I've seen more than once that people mention that the products they get exceed their expectations.

They've been fast, courteous and professional on every purchase I'd done with them whether it was small or medium. :)

Guys n Gals-

I am restarting a several month old thread because I am embrassed to admit that I never updated you on my situation...

I recieved a 1925 Mosin in absolutely impeccable condition from Tradex.

It has a Hex reciever and shows absolutely no sign of being counterbored.

I am sorry I did not update my situation earlier- the bore is excellent and the rifle is in perfect working condition.

Anyone interested in buying a Mosin from Tradex- I highly suggest you do so.

The guys at tradex were very friendly and I was more than happy with my purchase.

Pictures available upon request (I realize this is a "dead thread", but if anyone is interested in seeing pics of the Mosin I recieved from Tradex, pls let me know).
