Been few weeks since shooting again and i noticed a few things have changed in the game.

1. Everybody shoots a Shadow
2. Lots of new faces
3. Magnet mag pouches!!

I just ordered a new CR belt and am wondering if i should upgrade my CR mag pouches as well. They work, just the retention on the pouches are always changing due to the stupid screws.

I see most people are running one or two magnetic pouches at least. Are they sturdy enough so mags don't move during running stages? Which ones are the ones to get?

Not EVERYONE shoots a shadow!

I won a ghost pouch as a door prize, I use it with the 'wings' as my first pouch on the belt. I find that the wings keep the mag stable and it seems to be just as fast as a solid/traditional pouch. Generally the magnets are strong enough to hold the mags well, but there may be shifting with really vigorous movement - also of note, you may stick to metal props or parts of the COF.

The CR one is good too. Before getting a legit pouch, I just zip-tied some hard-drive magnets to my belt. That worked pretty good and the price was right!

Musky,it's a Double Alpha product....I'm using it for both Production and Standard (the magnet on the side saves space as euxx said everything needs to be behind hip bone).....works great!!

Not necessarily true.
I seem to recall that a magnet is considered "allied equipment" and cannot be positioned such that it is able to hold a magazine forward of the hip bone.

For example, if you have a magazine pouch forward of the hip bone, claiming that it is only used for "magazine on table" starts will not prevent you from being bumped from standard or production. It is allied equipment and must be positioned behind the hipbone.
