Nice Marlins, Road King. Did Marlin short rifles have a short forend like most Winchesters or were they all the same length?
32 H.P.S caliber? I thought I'd heard of all the lever gun cals ever made, but unless this is a weird designation for something like the 32 WCF or 32 Spl, it's a new one to me. Please enlighten me.
Only on the Special Light Weight Rifles were the fore stocks 1" shorter then standard.
My first non-restricted firearm. I'm grinning from ear to ear and haven't even shot it yet.

yes it is a winchester, and i haven't held a rossi so i can't really say. but since you said the wood looks like real walnut i'm guessing the rossi doesn't have that, so at least a portion of that extra $500 i do think is worth it lol.The wood looks like real walnut so it can't be a Rossi, must be a new Winchester.
Looks very nice, do you think they are worth the extra $500?

I bought a new Win 92 in 44 a while back and I can tell you they are a fine rifle and worth every penny if this type of rifle turns you on. It's not for the "one gun fits all" club but it fills a niche in my collection. The Rossi is IN MY OPINION a poorly made piece of junk compared to the new 92s from Miroku/Winchester.
