The RA range is certainly convenient, particularly in the winter.
There are a range of disciplines available, on different days of the week, from bulls-eye, to IPSC, to various Olympic styles. The regimentation differs according to disciple.
It's a little different to, say, EOHC, that has lots of room, and few shooters at any one time. On a Monday night, which is essentially free-form recreational bulls-eye, there may be as many as 40 to 60 shooters amusing themselves for two or three hours, in a relatively small space. In order to keep things moving, and to keep it safe, the relays are run pretty tightly. You wouldn't want it any other way.
The club also has a vast pistol collection, so you can try out all types, at any time. Cost is the same as EOHC, or thereabouts.
I also hear good things about the Grenville outdoor range, as a replacement for EOHC, but have yet to visit.
.
The 40-60 shooter make me wonder if it's the right place for me.
Thanks for the info
