A2 buffer tubes

They are the same, but the diameter is a bout 0.002" different (commercial are larger on OD). This only makes a difference if you are using a tight fitting eg. CAR stock. Make sure your stock will accept the right one. Milspec are rolled and better quality, but commercial are strong enough to do the job.

I believe the milspec (1.140") / commercial (1.170") difference is .030" but it pertains to carbine buffer tubes, the OP specifically refers to A2 rifle buffer tubes.
