Hey guys im looking at getting a magpul stock for the norc. I am pretty new to the Ar seen so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I seen there are mil spec and non milspec stocks and buffer tubes. Which one will fit my gun? Also can i just buy the stock or do i need a buffer tube also?

Thanks in advance

The outside diameter of the tube is too big. I had the same issue as you, had to switch out my comm-spec tube for a mil-spec one. I heard Magpul does make comm-spec stocks, but you'll have to double check that.

No need to change the Norc commercial tube. I have the CTR MagPul commercial stock on my Norc. Fits perfectly.
Maybe some folk have experienced a bad fit, I haven't.

i got this for my norc. fits and works grate.

It suits it. f:P:

So if i can find a comercial stock i can use the tube i have now? Any advantages of changing the tube ?

Yes, absolutely. Yes there is, actually - at least with respect to Magpul stocks. You can only use the optional Magpul stock pads on mil-spec stocks, and if you decide to use the LaRue cheek riser it only works on mil-spec stocks as well. Since you have a Norc my advice would be stick with the commercial tube and stock; just make sure your next AR has a mil-spec tube.

works fine for me. never had a problem and it fits perfict no wiggle or play or anything like the factory norc stock.
