Very pleased with G17s accuracy at 25 yards.

Here's a 25 shot group I shot the other day unsupported offhand at 25 yards with my new G17. After a little work, it's nice to see that these plastic guns can shoot well.

The black center is 5 inches across, and the inner x ring is 3.5 inches across.

Nice to know, I've been wanting one but have feared the plastic so far!! May have to get one.

While it's not 1911 or wheelgun accuracy it's quite acceptable. I should be able to tighten this further once I swap out the plastic front sight with something finer.

Your G17 can do even better ;)

My G34 is giving me around 2-3" at 20m

All the glock haters just have bad trigger control

A new front sight will tighten the group more. The vertical spread on this group is just over 2.5 inches, so I can see it can be done. The gun is stock apart from the Ghost Rocket connector.

I wish i could do that with my G17 lol im still learning the trigger. Handgun shooting has proven hard to learn for me after 7 years of only slapping the trigger shooting clays. Me and my gp100 can do alot smaller but with the slide tops not so much

20 yards ... Pass that I cant hit sh!t with a glock....

That's very good going. Unsupported offhand? Any mods? If you can shoot like that at 20 yards, you should be able to shoot very well with it way past 20 yds. It looks like your group size is about 2.5 inches, if you extrapolate that out to 50 yds that's just over a 5 inch group at that distance. You'd be able to hit a 10 inch steel plate at 100 yds no problem with a group size like that at 20.

Just been reading your AR build thread. Very nice rifle.

Your 20 yard group with your Glock is phenomenally good, in fact it looks like you can shoot almost as well with your Glock as your AR15 at nearly the same distance. If I were you I'd stick with your Glock. It just shows what one can do with a handgun compared to a rifle. Good job!

To be fair my Glock is hiding the 10th bullet hole in the picture... lol...

Still if you can shoot unsupported offhand groups like that at 20 yards (60 feet) with a Glock it's very good. Try it at 100 yds on a 12 inch steel plate. You'll surprise yourself.

Have you done any modifications to the gun, barrel or trigger?

I'm going to have to ask for you to explain your shooting methods. I had my glock 17 out for the second time yesterday, I was averaging 2 hits on a standard 20 yard target at 20 yards.. It sure is a lot different then the .22 1911 I started out with a few months ago.
