model 88? Help please! UPDATE!!

Not a bit surprised at the Win. 88 come Savage 99.
It is amazing how many hunters do not know what brand of rifle they have. I couldn't count how many gun owners have told me they had a Springfield rifle, when reality they had a rifle of some sort, chambered for the 30-06.
A woman wanted to order mounts for her "30-06" rifle, and got real snotty when I said I would have to see the rifle. She snorted, "It's a 30-06, why would you have to see it!"
Others have told me they had a 308 rifle, but couldn't tell me what kind, when I asked them. The common answer was "Winchester," because it used 308 Winchester ammunition.

Had a fellow bring one over to change the scope it was his Dad's when it got here it was a Sako finnwolf

Add a little to your wet dreams.lol.
On the bottom is a .243 featherweight. Next up a .250 R, a .300 M that has reportedly only been shot 3 times. A wife bought it so her lawyer/ husband could deer hunt with her brothers, sighted it in, never got his deer or used it again.
At top is a .375wcf sombody built on a "C" reciever back when one could buy Savage barrels from Gun Parts. Shoots awesome!

twas a bunch of .243 88's at the Dugald gun show today, I'm sure they will be there again tomorrow, I doubt there were many Doctor's/Lawyer's there today as buyer's! :p PM me Gary, with your CC number, I'll be the middle man!
