Thank you, that would be Argentine Marines who used the 7.62 conversion.

Yes the Venezuelans are beautiful, the first major contract, amazing fit and finish. I would shoot 7mm all day. I worked up a cast bullet load years ago that I shot with the gas regulator turned off. Essentially a straight pull rifle.

7.62mm conversion were made from 7.65mm models as I recall.

The shooter had a foreend in one hand, and a receiver and butt in the other. Blew the magazine out and splintered the stock. It is safe to say the man was dumbfounded.

Egyptian contract omitted the firing pin safety retainer, and any SAFN with a one piece firng pin should be switched out for two piece.

True, I have never had a problem, but there are so many examples out there of out of battery explosions with them.....YMMV

OK I'll put you on the list !!!

My passion is mausers, but back in the 80-90s, I developed a taste for the milsurp semi-autos then available, found them quite interesting. Along with the 49s, was able to buy/trade/upgrade to the best examples of the usual AG42b, Hakim, Rasheed, Garand, MAS, SVT38, SVT 40, will pull them out and take pics.

Sounds like a nice and varied S/A milsurp collection. I would suggest you leave instructions with your estate executor so that when you DO cash in, your relatives earn a profit vice a worthless pat on the back from some keystone cop looking to run the numbers up on the next "op safe streets" for a promotion-earning press release.
