Looking for.....

Besides the EE.....I can't seem to track down a decent Quick detach mount for a flat top styled AR15. I've checked out ArmsEast & Wolverine...but would still like to shop around and check out other options.

So far I'm looking at the "Ad-Recon 1 from ADM" on ArmsEast

any suggestions/tips are welcome...

ADM mounts are good to go and easily available in Canada from various dealers. You don't really need to look any further.

Other quick detach options are Larue (good luck finding one, even more luck to find one for a reasonable price)and Vortex (rebranded ADM). That's really about it. Bobro are supposed to make good mounts but don't think they're available up here.

Doesn't Burris make a QD mount for the AR - won't be the same quality as the ADM, but probably cheaper.

N/M, just saw the 1" requirement...

Questar has a GG&G 30mm unit in stock.

Larue was my first choice, but like LEG said in his reply....It's a near impossibility to locate here.

ADM was my silver medal....but the price is almost as expensive as the scope that will go with it. But I guess my options are limited and my hands may be tied

P&D for sure, got mine from them 2 weeks back. Probably lots of others, though Phil told me they do sell out fast so stock may be hit and miss.

I own a couple of both mounts. The PEPR QD is a decent mount, but if you can find a good price on an ADM mount, I'd spend the extra money.

Thanks for the advice gentlemen. There's an annual gun show coming up next week so I will take a gander there. If nothing materializes, it'll be an order for the ADM Ad-Recon 1 from ArmsEast!
