I also just ordered one for my Wingmaster, if you end up having to remove material from your slide arms please post pictures if you can. =)
Hoping not to have to but will post picks if I do.

I just got an email back from Dlask, he still in the barrel game. End of may we should see more shorties.
Now to talk Josef into doing 590 barrels...The crap I'm talking about is the majority of all products (not just guns)I see in the market today! Cheap is ruling the world! I'm sure Dlask makes a nice barrel... I've never handled one. The only thing that seemed a bit odd to me was their choice of a heavy profile for the barrel. Maybe it's a "Tactical" thing?
The extra weight for carry and the need to modify stock parts is a negative to my use.
SuperbNow to talk Josef into doing 590 barrels...
Never had to modify any 870's I put them on...? The "heavy" profile is a bit of a misnomer, I never found them very heavy especially given they're typically 12.5". It weighs the same or less than the 18" regular profile it's replacing I'm sure. I think it's following the 590/milspec model with the heavy wall barrels to prevent dents in rough use, and a manufacturing choice I'm sure too as heavier wall's easier to turn.
Despite a long 870 interest stage (great shotgun, few flies on that one) the 590 beats it for me in every category and short 590A1's would have me waving cash pretty fast.Another thing I didn't like with the NEA was the parkerized chamber. Maybe it's a non issue but I'd rather have a polished chamber.
