Where can I get detachable mags for the SkS at a reasonable price , preferably metal mags ? The few places I ve found so far are out of stock.

there's a thread regarding this already posted, if you take a look at that three it has lots of info

I hate posts like this. It took you longer to type that out than to link your aforementioned thread.

I don't know which one you're referring to, or I would link it myself.

Bruno, it is general internet forum etiquette to search, especially for commonly asked questions. this keeps the garbage threads to a minimum, and keeps the threads with solid information easier to find.

Lewis was not being a ####, just encouraging OP to take a look.

p.s. it is poor form anywhere to expect others to do all the heavy lifting for you.(handing you a link)

Thanks Arloashean ,I`ll have a look at that site . As to the remark about searching , I did do a search and didn`t find what I needed so I posted a question , I`m fairly new here ,and thought a rookie question would be alright .

I know of forum etiquette. As someone who has used many different forums, I know that the search function isn't always the most helpful. As shown in the OP's post below, he used the search, but to no avail. Be that as it may, the link STILL has not been posted, nor found by the OP. 30 seconds of effort on Lewis' part would had this thread over and done with yesterday. But alas, here we are.

I don't want to sound like a #### either but, seeing that the OP is new to the forum the response should have been "Here is a helpful link ###xx, next time using the search function would be best."

Let's be honest, not everyone is a veteran of the forum, they don't know every topic that's been discussed since the forum's inception.

edit: Sorry for derailing the thread, but I just had to say something.

edit2: OP see if this link helps http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/search.php?searchid=19165159
