I am wondering has anyone that bought new Tavor Tar-21 that ever comes with the OEM case. I have never seen what the case looks like anywhere on the net. Do you have any pics of the case that is included as part of the kit with Tavor purchase? How big is the case?

Thx

The one I got from wanstalls is just a soft-case about the size of the rifle. It has a bunch of pockets on the side for AR mags. No idea if this is the OEM case, but I was hoping for something a bit nicer. A hard-case woulda been great.

mine was originally from Canada Ammo.. it didnt come with the case and it also didnt have the removable BUIS.
So i dont know about the case , but i have seen Canada-ammo selling the sights separately, considering that friend of mine just bought his from a different dealler, and he got the full package for the same price, I kinda feel ripped off....

So i dont think i'll be buying my next Tavor from Canada Ammo... :(

By the way, i've seen the case it comes with, its very nice and robust case.

Really?? I thought Tavor comes with an OEM hard case like how Glock, Smith Wesson, etc. have guns that comes with the nice hard case included. I am shocked/ surprised that you guys only got a soft case instead for a $3000 rifle! I was expecting more for the higher price we pay for the gun to have better quality hard case to compliment the product and also for better protection from damage and storage. It's a real bummer that we needlessly have to pay extra more dough for the hard case out of our own pockets again.

Very true but even if it came with a hard case it would be a ####ty one like the XCR comes with.

For the price we pay those rifles they should come with a nice pelacin case

You realize that pelican cases can run up past $500 for a "nice" one right?

I'd just as soon not have any extra "case price" on a rifle. That way I can buy my own carry cases drag bags and whatever else I feel like.

my Noveske Infidel ($2700.00) and my H&K MR223 ($4200.00) both came with beautiful cardboard carrying cases!!!

Hard cases are heavy and akward to carry, i use soft cases for all my rifles now and sold all my Pelican cases. I can carry twice as many rifles with less weight using soft cases, and they can fold out and be used as a shooting mat....

yeah $500 retail you think IWI is going to pay that with bulk orders from pelacin they would most likey pay cost plus 5-10% at most. and no Pelacin case cost that much to make.

That's interesting that you prefer a soft case than Pelican and others. I already bought a soft case to carry around to the range, but now I realaize I will have 2 soft cases for Tavor. I was thinking that the hard case is ideal for storage and protection only at home and not for carrying around. I bet it is much easier to clean off dust than the soft case.

That's the thing about Pelican cases are pricey. Yikes! It's almost like buying a new pistol or a scope for the same price.

i got the soft case with my Tavor and loved it for its convenience untill I bought optics for it Now its to large to fit in the case and i have to get a new one. WTF. I guess its a pelican case for me after all.

Yep, the 36" case they come with is perfect until optics are installed, and then it's quite challenging to squeeze everything in there and get it zipped up. I also have a 42" NcStar case that's a little better, but still a pretty tight fit.

Looking all over the 'net at different hard cases, I think the perfect (which for me means smallest) Tavor case is the Vanguard Outback 52C Breakdown Shotgun Case. according to the specs (30.75" x 12.375" inside dimensions) it'll have about 1/2" space all around the Tavor (with a Burris AR-332 mounted), which is as close to like a glove as I've found. It's also relatively inexpensive, as I can't see myself in a situation where my rifle will need the protection a Pelican or other high end case offers.

This has always been my issue. My Tavor isn't long, but its fat! (baha)

I keep looking at the Tasmanian Tiger cases and trying to figure out if any of those would fit. They have an MP5 designed one, and an AR one that looks fairly tall.

I can't even fit my Tavor into my eberlestock anymore! The razor scope is just too much for it.
