Those of you who have a CZ858 know that the bolt release pin is small, and difficult to get at. Add in the NEA ambi mag release, and it's near impossible to get to. So I was thinking if it would be possible to cut a bit from the reciever at the bottom, getting a bit of a wing welded onto the bolt release pin so it sticks through the cut. Then I could get at it easily with the trigger finger.
Does anyone think cutting a small grove in the reciever be an issue? I won't do the work myself, taking it to a machine shop to put a cocking handle on the left side anyway.
I know about the NEA bold release pin, kinda expensive and sticks out a long way. May have no choice if above won't work.
