Some of you know already but we just paid for the steel targets and should have them by the end of the month. This is great news for the club as we will be able to start shooting matches with all 8 stages or 7 plus a bonus.

With matches starting i am of course looking to add to our list of sponsors so i can offer you guys great prizes, if you know anyone please have them get a hold of me to discuss.

Abbotsford Fish and Game Range memberships have restarted so will be back to an extra $10 for non members at practice, but you can also buy a membership from me for $151.20 for single and $179.29 for a family taxes included. If you do not plan on coming to a work bee then add $28 payable by cheque or cash at any practice.

And lastly, we did not do the ear plug draw last week, so it will be this week but still only the entries in april count towards it.

There is nothing wrong with our targets, other than they don't get used enough!

The big plates are pretty ragged and some of the rounds don't want to ring anymore.

So the steel has shipped today, or should be at least. I was going to run falling steel next week but just in case the stuff shows up in time, we will run falling steel this week and hopefully the new steel next week

For anyone who has not shot steel challenge before, this is awesome. I don't know club requirements, but it's a great sport for beginners or people with limited experience.

Club requirements.. Show up, shoot. If you're not a member no worries, there's a $10 drop in fee on top of the $5 to shoot practice nights. If you're remotely local I highly suggest membership, Abby is a friendly, often quiet (I shot there this last Saturday, 2pm-6pm and had the range to myself for most of it) club with lots to offer. Brennan can sell memberships on practice nights, first year all in with taxes comes to I believe $152 and change and runs April 30th-April 30th. Take 25+tax off that for renewal.

And on Saturday, you can shoot all eight stages twice, just enter two guns.
