Best AR trigger in the market?

Pretty much what the title says, but let me elaborate.

What match grade/2-stage AR trigger do you find the best?

I now have my NEA lower en route, and its time to start laying down the parts list/ future buys list for this build.

Geissele is very nice.

However, before you pick one, figure out what you want to do with your AR, more target vs. CQB type training. You don't want too light of a trigger for certain applications.

Plain old SSA to me feels light enough.
 
Then decide what type of target shooting you will be doing. If it is any of the disciplines where ARs are used for service rifle type competition, there are minimum trigger weights, and many of the so-called match triggers won't make the weight.
If you are just going to be doing recreational plinking, then it doesn't matter.
 
I have a RRA two stage match trigger trogger group in one of my AR's and a 3lb Timney in the other.

The RRA is an large improvement over the stock trigger, for the money (just over $100.00) I feel this trigger offers good value.

However, the Timney is one of the nicest triggers I've felt/pulled.
The 'drop in' trigger group feature is nice, plus you do not have to be concerned with trigger pins rotating with the Timney.

The price of the Timney is in the same range as some of the Geissele triggers (approx. $220.00), so I would suggest looking at either of these makes. I have not tried any of the Geissele triggers, but I've heard that they are very nice as well.
 
Geissele is worth the money. Really light take up with a crisp clean break. Extremely short reset, with a sharp positive click. I find it helps more with distant shots than up close, but if you get used to the trigger, you can really get it going.

I run an SSA-E. It's supposed to be really durable, but I haven't ran mine hard enough to speak on that personally.
 
Geissele but based on your buying an NEA...I'd say something like a Spikes Tactical battle trigger or ALG Defense (if they ever show up here) would be a more appropriate upgrade. 1/4 the price and are pretty decent single stage triggers.

I have about 15,000 rounds across two of my SSA-E's. Never had a problem with them yet.

The Geissele's are very good. The trick is finding out which trigger is best for you.
 
Geissele Automatics uptake absolutely dominates the Tier-1 Military Orgs, the AMU, the NSWC+, everyone. It's no accident. His triggers are the best feeling, longest lasting (infinite lifespan?) AR trigger in the world. The US DOD has built a path to his door. He built the better mousetrap.
