Remington Rand 1911 - Luger - P38 - Antique Revolvers

Hi Folks,
Looking for a little help here, I inherited several handguns from my father. One is a 1910 1920 98mm barrel Luger DWM made in Germany, the next is a Walther Nazi Marked P38, a Remington Rand 1911A1 45 stamped "United States Property M 1911 A1 US Army" and two 32 caliber break open revolvers. I am posting pictures below and hoping you can help me identify more about them and what they may be worth.

Inherited Handguns

The P08 is a DWM (Deutsche Waffen-und Munitionsfabriken), manufactured in 1910 then re-issued after WW1 in 1920. If all the parts (including the magazine base plug) show the same last two digits of the serial number then it would be all matching. Asses the bore condition and overall condition to determine the value.
The P38 shows the cyq code (Spreewerke). Again assess the bore and overall condition to determine the value.

I'll take a stab at it....

That Remington Rand appears to be all original/correct etc. Early type slide script & early Keyes type grips without rings around screw holes. A very nice example, indeed. Very desireable.

Personally, I wouldn't let it go much below $1,250'ish would be my guess.

First off, you inherited a nice little collection!

I actually own a Remington Rand very similar to yours. You have an early, second slide variation Remington Rand M1911A1. These pistols are relatively hard to find in Canada, and have a du-lite finish (sandblasted then blued) instead of the typical parkerizing on the later third slide variation Remington Rands. As Marcus has said, a desireable pistol much nicer than your typical 44/45 Remington Rand that are much more common.

If you post some photos of the barrel markings, I can confirm if it's correct. Most likely a HS P barrel or flannery barrel with heat stamp numbers.

Considering M1911A1's seem to be popular lately, I suspect you could get a decent price for it. The condition of your pistol appears to actually be pretty decent also.

Edit: It appears you also have a correct early pinned base mag, a nice bonus! You'll have to confirm though, it's hard to tell, you can see the pins at the bottom of my mags in the photo, yours should be the same for a 1943 Remington Rand.

The Walther CYQ was made in 1943 in Sept. a total of 228,000 of this particular type (variation) were made. If all matching and condition vg I would suggest between $500 and $650.
