Its the Term collectors use to discribe the longer frame of the S&W DA in 44 S&W CTG .
Theses guns have a longer top strap over the cylinder and are longer frame below.
Most 44 Russian S&W DAs have cylinders that are only 1 and 7/16th long.
The Long straps have 1 and 9 /16th long cylinders and longer frames to take the cylinders :)
