Any idea what is allowed and restricted/prohibited by RCMP/Homeland Security, customs or border officials when purchased during a travel? I am going south in few weeks (flying in and out of Pearson-YYZ). I am planning to buy holster, mag pouches, belt, range bag, tools and maybe optics. No ammo , no gun-specific part/s.

Everything but the optics shouldn't be an issue from what I understand. Optics and gun parts are ITAR regulated. Not sure about the tools.

Edit: Whoops, this is if you're flying in from the US.

I have bought all of that stuff before and had it in my checked baggage, even had 2 stocks and 10 tapco 5rd sks mags and they never said a word

Good to hear this. I am hoping to find 10-rounder Mec Gar mags for CZ 85C. Any recommendation for a suitable holster that is IPSC Production Class legal for CZ 85C? I've seen Fobus, Bladetech, Kydex and the likes. But not sure which is better. CR Speed and Ghost looks very nice. A little expensive though and not sure if these types are allowed in Production Class.

Yes make sure to take your illegally exported magazines carry on.

ROFLMAO!!!

In case it's not already abundantly clear, as Slavex noted it is a crime to export any gun parts from the USA without a permit.

It is not a crime to import them into Canada, which is why poweredward wasn't hassled by Customs when he returned.

See the difference?

Loud and clear!

Any link to ITAR site? I can't find a direct URL wherein these issues are directly mentioned.
