Who is the dummy who oversaw this project!! !!!

On a similar note, the Infantry Branch flag, approved by CDS Ramsey-Withers in Aug '80, and approved by Norm Buckingham, DCer, shows an FN C1A1 bayonet with the open loop which fixes onto the muzzle in line with the blade.

In other words, the handle and the blade oppose each other by 180 degrees!
 
+1 to the barrel being broken off awhile back. I suppose the question now is who was responsible for putting it back together or was it upside down prior to it being broken?

Still don't know why they moved it from the front gate.

When they sent it away to get redone and I first saw it gone from the front gate ....I thought they got rid of it all together :mad: .
Even with the upside down flash eliminator it is a fantastic statue .
