Cash in hand

black rifle makers are like 14 year old school girls gossiping and spreading rumours in the playground. ARs all look cool and go bang, unless your being deployed to Nigeria tomorrow it doesnt really matter

ATRS- Canadian made and great quality.

I owned one of the first ones they put out and loved it, and from what I can see the have only improved their uppers and lowers.

I'd look at the Freedom Ventrue STI rifle, it make a great sporting rifle if you ever wanna do action shooting with it and the price is great ($1500).

Guys - I've got the cash to buy a Hummer, Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, Rolls Royce, Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Ford, Chevy, Lada, Trabant & Yugo - I hear the Yugo craps out sometimes and that a Porsche is really fast.....I just want to get great value and never ever ever ever ever ever ever have a problem of any kind.

What should I get?

sorry for being such a little snot - just busting yer balls :)

For fit and finish, its pretty hard to top a Daniel Defense for the price. I'd have a close look at the online reviews. Daniel Defense makes parts for the US military, and I can attest to the quality.

Slight hijack. Im looking for a new rail for my 20 inch AR. I like the look of the DD rails and how the security of their FF design. My question is are they REALLY worth the $500

Bottom line is every single manufacturer of anything on the planet will have a lemon from time to time. The best you can do is pick a well known manufacturer and buy what you can best afford and have fun with it.

I think this is the best advice I've heard. It's like buying a brand new vehicle. Doesn't matter who makes it, but if it was built on A Friday afternoon them you may get a lemon. I float back and forth to what brand I like today, which may be different from tomorrow and I own and have owned most of the major manufacturers. All of the ones you mentioned are decent quality. My faves today would have to be NEA, Noveske and LMT. In that order. Problem with NEA is obviously the wait time. The other 2 are slightly on the pricey side, but make a ###y rifle. Can't go wrong for performance on any of those, from my experience.

Cheers,
Darkstang
