Value of Mauser Mod 98 with Nazi stamps?

Just saw it is on the EE for $650. Sigh......

This is the exact reason I only buy milsurps from gun shows now, because of the artificial CGN price inflation.

this is why i cant wait for marstar to get there k98 in for a nice $429 i find that a fair price but 650 for a rework and has chips it just outrageous

Those $429 Marstar K98's that you mention have been sold out for over Ten Years......... 10 Years.
You'll be waiting a long, long time because there are no more to import.

Do you guys think they grow on trees! :adult:

yes they bin sold out for 10 years but i ask john the other day and he said he is getting more in soon and that why there still on the website :) so not to long of a wait

I'll believe it when I see the $429 Yugo Mausers as the TNW MG34's and several others are back ordered several years.

At the end of the day, an East German rework K98 is still superior to a Yugo rework and a RC K98.

not sure what once he will bring in he just told me there will be some k98 i think there coming with the yugo sks but still there k98 :)

East German or Czech refurb ? I am not sure what the "dots" are on just forward of the bayonet lug.

I believe it is:

(a) East German Morse Code for SOS.
(b) Someone redoing a Brinell Hardness Test.
(c) Hammering on the Upper Band with a Punch.
(d) Crop Circles.

Please tell what gun shows you are going to- because the ones around here in Ottawa the prices on milsurp are insane! If you can even find anything nice on the tables...

Smaller gunshows in Calgary and surrounding area. There is one on in a small town south of here this weekend I am heading out to see. Even the big Calgary gun show had some decent prices for milsurps that certainly beat the EE for buying.

at these prices im willing to part with my ultra rare 60's made in china sks. crafted by the finest child labour money could not buy. it comes with a super ###y ati stock, custom painted in "sniper style" laundry bag camo scheme. it also includes a tapco 20/5 round mag and one russian 30 round " filled to the tits with epoxy" 5 round mag also. this can be yours for the super low price of 1500 dollars and even include, cause im a nice guy a soup kitten. cause after all, who doesent like kitten soup?
