Looks like I guessed wrong. Nothing wrong with leupolds, or zeiss. Just saying for the money zeiss has leupold beat....on average... Across Canada.

I stand corrected. I just reviewed my email from the Bushnell rep, whom I know here in Vancouver, and he called them "Bushnell Custom binoculars." They were the best optics Bushnell made back in the ’70s when they were made.
Either way, they rival $2000+ binos from todays top brands.

Whats so custom about them?

When people looked through them, they immediately "cussed 'em." Custom looked better in print.

I recently acquired a Abolt I Medallion that was NIB and now have to consider optics. Lots of experience with Bushnell including 6500, 4200, Legend, and Banner. I also have Weaver K4, Leupold M8, and Burris FFII. I want to try either Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40 or Leupold VX3 2.5-8X40. Out of the two options what would you recommend and why?
