Hunting farmland?

ok i am going to be kinda vauge on details. i have been given permission to hunt a large farm. it is in B.C. and the lowermainland. the shooting is to protect crops and live stock. ill be shooting ducks geese and coyotes mainly. my question is do i need to follow provincal bag limmits and daily quotas? dose the season in the regs pertain to when i can hunt. will i need a migratory bird licence and that special fraiservalley licence as well?
the farmer says bring your shotgun down and thats it?

i just want to make sure i am covering my ass
 
Call CWS at Westham Island.
You will be surprised at the restrictions you will adhere too.
Yes, you will need a Migratory Bird Lic.
Yes, you will need a Fraser Valley Special Areas Lic.
And No you will Not be allowed to keep the Ducks and Geese.
Oh, did I mention you will need to use steel shot as well.
Providing this is a legal Kill Permit you are asking for/about.

Since we are talking migratory birds, I would think you still need to abide by Federal regulations... including seasons and limits.. just a thought, I have been known to be wrong;)
 
If I recall correctly, limits and seasons are not really applicable when dealing with problem wildlife. The farmer will have to have the necessary permits. I am not sure if the shooters must be named or not. No shooting restrictions will also have to be adhered to.
Please research this with the MOE and the farmer before shooting.
 
the farmer has permission from the city. he has been doing it for a long time. i didnt know this was so restricted.
what is CWS?
