Haven't seen a lot of discussion about these Matech mounts for micro aimpoint, and what little I've seen is kind of Ho-Hum on it.

But I picked one up some time ago on the EE and finally got around to trying it out on my AR today.

I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with it, and for me, at least on this day, it worked as advertised. We'll see if it holds up.

Zeroed at the 25 yd setting,

then dialed up to 100 and 200.

Spot on for both after a minor windage adjustment at 100.
I was hitting a little round gong at 200 with no trouble at all.
200 yards is as far as our range goes at the moment. Eventually I'd like to stretch it out to 4 or 500 to see what it's like. It maxes out at 800
Probably need a better shooter than me to get hits at 300 never mind 800! :p

I get a nice co-witness with my flip ups too.

At first glance I thought...Big and Clunky, stick with ADM...then I noticed the elevation adjustment.

Very neat!!!!

I think those guys were originally designed for M249 LMG's on contract, but they seem like a very cool mount and it gives you those range adjustments which can be really handy instead of using hold overs.

I'm guessing it's pretty heavy though (compared to the factory mounts)?
