I'd normally say that's retarded, but I'm shopping for a second SKS as we speak. (The first one came out of the cosmoline just a week ago)

Not a bad idea if you really like these rifles. I'll probably use my regular M305 for Service rifle some day, while the shorty looks like it will serve well for both bushwacking and CQB.

Considering the saying that's usually associated with Hungry, I really wonder what having more than two of these does for one's anatomy.
