Best Place near Vancouver for Barrel Fluting?

Ahoy-hoy... I just picked up a new XCR-M (Thanks Gary over at Wanstalls). I'd like to get the barrel fluted, what sort of results have you guys seen if you have tried it?

Also open to recommendations of good smiths locally, I have it had to have anything smithed, so I have no frame of reference.

I'd probably go with Dlask for this one - are you just looking to change the balance, or reduce overall weight - fluting won't (should not) affect accuracy.

Fluting.close to the end of the bbl unless done perfecly. Or from the factory. Can very much affect how the gun shoots.
The fluting has to be balanced perfectly or when the barrel whips when being fired. You shots will be all over the place.
Aftermarket fluting can lead to barrel fractures and blow out.

Any process where you are altering the weight and structure of the barrel can change it's performance. I think uniformity is key with all of these options.
