So I finally got around to applying for both my PAL and RPAL. The RCMP interviewed my girlfriend and buddy as references, as well as a phone interview with myself. I believe things went well enough. About two weeks ago now... any idea of how long it takes for them to process this stuff?

In the offhand event I am denied for RPAL, can i still be approved for a regular PAL?

I just recently was approved for my RPAL and it took 36 days for me.
On the 36th day, I called into the Sask CFO office and was approved on the phone. Everyone I have spoken with has been great.
Just waiting for license to arrive in the mail.

my app took from jan 26th to april 15thish for both pal and rpal. thye called me and my refrences and then I waited. you can check the status of your app online as well.

You guys are lucky, My RPAL application has been sitting in the Ontario CFO for 7 weeks now due to a "backlog" at the office.

I thought the application was federal and not provincial?, do you mean you application was approved by the CFO over the phone to send to the RCMP?

Bank account dwindling... Cabelas opened literally down the street from me, and driving to Badger Arms in Melfort today to check out what Armond has in stock.

Any contact info on the that handgun club? Do they do Ipsc stuff? I had a client tell me about a local group he shot with a while ago.
