8X57 question

I just picked up a Parker Hale in 8X57. I would like to reload 150gr bullets. Can anyone tell me if a 1x12" twist will work well with shorter shank bullets? (please pardon me if terminology is incorrect) I loaded a 7X57 that would not shoot well with anything except the really long European kinda bullets.

Should be fine, but the only way to know for sure is to try it and see.

Twist will not be an issue. But he jump to the lands might be a half inch....

The 1-12 twist rate will work just fine.

Load them as close the the leade as possible and still get good neck retention.

Personally, I like to shoot heavier bullets out of 8mm, at least 175+.

Not that a deer will notice any difference, even if you ask it later.
