B&T/CZ 858 Magwell Demo

cant a company manufacture "pistol vz 58's" and make a pistol mag from the original mags rather than doing all this adapting ... i mean we already have a shorty version just make it that much smaller ???

Based on the results of the machining that we have had carried out on the first CZ 858 rifles we are refining our machining instructions. This is due to different tolerances from rifle to rifle. Measuring front to back machine out 63.6 mm not 64.6 mm, some final fitting by hand may be required so the magazines drop free. We have just test fired 15 rifles and all worked good with FMJ ammo. This adapter was designed to use the XCR 10 rd pistol magazine.

The Magwell adapter is $185 and we will be charging $75 to machine, fit and test fire a rifle.

A package deal should include two of the 10 round magazines, and a coupler.

That would make it directly reflective of the promotional video.
(Meaning what you see in the video is exactly what you get in the package.)

I think it would also reflect what most people would like to start with.

This is what I was referring to at the customer appreciation sale. Just so you guys know I didn't make it up. The couplers are now in stock, is the package deal still on? :)
 
Sent mine in for the mag well adapter, now the waiting!! going to get some of the mag coupler deal, and was wondering if the floor plates come with the mags in case you want to separate?

Canadian law say's you are only allowed to use pinned to 5 mags in semi auto guns?,..

how the hell are you skirting the legal issues with a pair of TEN rounders?,. being ten is twice the legal limit?

explain please?



also?,.. CZ858 is in 762,.. is VZ58 in a 762 as well?,. I was under the inmression the "VZ" was only in 223 cal?!?!

This has been well addressed elsewhere:

The magazine limit depends on the type of firearm the magazine is designed and manufactured for. Handgun magazines are limited to 10 rds, if they happen to fit and operate in a rifle then that is legal. Magazines for CF, SA rifles and shotguns are limited to 5rds even if they are used in a handgun.

I see,.. we're talking about 223's then not 762's then?,. I assume?
