It's tough living in the North!

Darn, I thought I was opening a black bear down thread ;)

Looks like good eatin Ted

Have seen over 40 different bears, but nothing down yet. Looking for a nice little rolly-polly meat bear. They have all been too big, too close to dwellings, or too far away.

Or, the lake trout keep getting in the way. This one from last night.

Ted, stop showing all those inviting pics of big fish, dead moose and fresh vegetables grown in your yard or all our favorite fishing lakes and moose sloughs and sheep rocks will be trampled down with the influx of outsiders moving to the Yukon. CUT IT OUT, NOW.
Dwell on the -40 days, 4 hrs daylight in Dec, vehicles left unplugged that won't start till spring, ice fog you can't see 50 ft in. C'mon Ted smarten up!!
It's TOUGH living in the north, really.

PS. Had an amazing feed of Char and Yukon grown pan fried spuds the other night, MMM MMM MMM.

Stop it Ted. Guys wanting to move there will give up in my country and I will be stuck with them. Cory and I just had a feed of Lake trout and good old canned beans on a shore lunch a few days ago. It is nice to live where you want to.

Darryl in Atikokan.

Well, you guys are tough in Northern Ontario. You can handle a few thousand buddies from Kitchener, TO, and Hamilton.

Good for you guys on the trout and the shore lunch. We only had bread, no beans.

Did Cory get the pan for his powder scale yet? CGN is waiting for his chronograph report!

That's another thing. Mail takes an extra three days to get here!!!!

It's tough living in the North! :)
