Mini 14 vs. Norinco M14

I have owned a norinco m305 and mini14 target.

M305- more useful caliber for big game, better accuracy , alot less money but ammo is not as cheap, lots of add ons

Mini 14- ( mine was a target with bull barrel and dampener etc) . Very nice looking in stainless, cheap to shoot but over twice the price. Accuracy imo was not impressive at all and accessories are lacking.

If i were to buy again it would be the m305

The rationale for the mini is the same for the M1A/M305; it's non restricted in a price range that your typical black rifle isn't available in.

Who would want to change the stock? The stock on those is awsome. As for the other accessories, good point. There is no doubting about the M14's accuracy.

Oh I don't know... Ruger does manage to get the barrels on straight.

Ever wonder why Canada ammo test fires each and every one. Think it's just cause they're nice guys?

I always preach that its better to make it your own and functionality changes per each user. My bad. I guess out of the 2, the M14 has more excesories, hands down. Way more.
