Cheapest 3 gun shotgun?

Maverick 88, if she wants an economical, reliable, quality shotgun. It is fully interchangeable with Mossberg500 chokes and barrels... I praise the Maverick88 quite a bit on CGN, but just so you know I also own an 870 which is a great shotgun, but for the price, I don't know of one better than the Maverick88...

If it has to be threaded that will limit the choice. I'd say a used Supernova, might need a tube extension but that's an extra $100, right in the ballpark of $600 total. Alternatively you could get a Mossberg 590/590A1 and have it threaded for chokes ($100 around).
The supernova is the best 3 gun shotgun in Canada. I use a 590A1 but i've got 1k put into it to make it as good as a cheaper Supernova.

The best I can find ready to run and gun.
Is the MODEL 870 EXPRESS SYNTHETIC TACTICAL $459 and Wholesale Sports.

Everything else has to be sent to a gun smith to have the barrel threaded.

Mavericks and not threaded.
590s are not threaded

I tried a 24" Supernova today. Will have to play with it some more tomorrow.
Still liking my 590 better.

Are the Supernova Tacticals theaded for chokes?

Weatherby makes a very nice tactical pump gun with pistol grip which looks very similar to the benelli nova. I think they are around $500.00.

First off, I'm wondering why you (she) need interchangeable chokes for 3-gun? I haven't seen any skeet or trap shooting at trigun events, so normally an improved cylinder or its like is quite satisfactory. That being said, I would say the Stevens 350 with ghost ring sights for about $280. It is a copy of the Ithaca 37, and is far and away the slickest pump there is, and ambidextrous to boot.

I've read the Stevens is junk. I bought an 870 tac at Lebarons for $497 with tax but sold to a friend before using. I know a few guys who have the 870 tac and although it is ready to run and in the budget it does have issues. The Mossberg 590 is a tank of a shotgun but doesn't come threaded. For 3 gun I always use modified or maybe full so chokes do come in handy. From most 3gun matches/IPSC shotgun i've seen here the majority of guys run the 590, kinda like the Shadow for production.

The Stevens is fine, it's probably just 870 and Mossy fanboi's talking smack about them. They're an exact copy of the Ithaca, and they've been successfully used for decades by LEOs.

I have a Stevens 350 and I like it alot. I just wish it had a longer mag tube.
