sp101 .22lr

I believe the more recent production models vary somewhat from the earlier models. A while back I acquired an early example from the family through the estate sale sale of a shooting buddy who past away a short while ago.

I've since picked up a similar GP100;), just to keep it company.

Ruger is having so much trouble fulfilling orders these days that they may have to outsource to china just to keep up !

msrp is 698 so 600 seems good. is SS with FO front sight and adjustable rears, so tune the trigger and good to go

In the grand scope of things, it is cheaper. In my mind the GSG 1911 is only around the $400 area, so it just seems high in comparison to that. I realize its not a revolver, but the quality and name is pretty decent when Ruger is usually the less expensive gun.

gsg isnt made out of SS though, its made out of aluminum and zinc and has plastic terrible sights. im sure if ruger used that material as well it would be half the price

The new SP101 was just announced at the tail end of last summer.

It also came out a few months after their SR1911. And we're just now seeing a reasonable number of them showing up. So I suspect that P&D's supply is VERY recent.
