Hello, after building a tiger wood/cocobolo stock for a 45-70 ( http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?t=757238 )
Ive kind of got the urge to build another for a sportered .303.
I would like to do another full wood, with maybe a more conventional style similar to a monte carlo but symetrical (lefty friendly).
Id also like to try box elder wood, Im thinking I'd like to buy a piece off the net and give it a couple months to adjust to our albertan humidity/lack of. You can try and talk me out of it but im pretty stuborn
Anyways, the intention of this thread is to get your ideas or more specifically the best looking wood stock styles youve seen on the net or have pictrues of.
I wont be engraving anything, but I may try checkering at the grip. So if you got an idea or picture you really like please feel free to post it, it may come into existince in a few months or so.
