CSA chrome lined 18.5"

Thanks for the info, ok so we have established that the Chromed 858's used to be available but in very limited quantities. I'm assuming the lucky people who do have one will probably not easily part with it. So back to my original point, what about engaging CZ to make more 858's with a chromed Non-Restricted Barrel? For $200 dollars cheaper then the VZ58's who wouldn't buy one?

Over to you North Sylvia.

I'd easily pay the extra $200 for a CSA over what's basically the equivalent of a WASR or some other low end U.S. market AK, in the 858.

North Sylva, can you please update us with any new info on importing the CSA VZ. 58 or CZ 858-2 7.69X39 in NR chrome? Are you guys still having talks, is it a done deal? Earliest ETA? The more details, the better. Thanks.

I'd be in, not just for the chrome lining but also that the CSA guns look like a step or two up in quality over the 858s.

I held a restricted CSA 58 sporter carbine yesterday at Milarm and I was very impressed with the quality. I was so impressed that if the CSA had been NR, I would have bought it, even at $1100 (if it also had the side scope mount).

I'm in the market right now considering either a CZ 858 or a non-restricted, chrome-lined CSA VZ58. After seeing and feeling the quality of the CSA sporter (with the side scope mount apparently OEM), if I have to wait for the NR version, I'll do so, but I have to know if it's actually going to be available or not. I think that's a fair request because "summers" are pretty short here in Alberta.

Non-Restricted CSA VZ-58, Chrome Lined, Real Wood furniture and a side scope mount.

I'd put down a grand for it.

Any luck on getting VZ58 "Pistol" magazines?

Guys this is in the works.

When I have an update I'll post it. These things don't happen over night.

patience, it will be worth it.
