Originally made for the 551 Swat. As expected machining is flawless and this thing locks up tight! :D
This setup was specifically made to mount the TA11 with its longer eye relief so it will not work with the smaller Acog's. The quick detach locking pressure is adjustable using an allen key. Got it from Gunfactory.ch

Range trip.

Well I had it out shooting today, bouncing around the truckbed, bushwhacking, it held like a rock.

Zeroed at 100yds, shot this 15 round group at 300yds then went back to 480yds kneeling supported and tagged Ivan 13/15 rounds. Eye relief was perfect. Very good scope mount.

300yds.

The Shooting Edge listed those mounts before in their catalogue for a lot less than CHF600.

There is the mount itself and the Acog U-channel.
I got a quote from TSE which was $425 for the mount and $134 for the U-channel. Problem was it may take a long time to get it in.

Gunfactory was $435 for the mount and $177 for the U-channel but I had it in 2 weeks. Only catch is its CHF so add about 80 bucks to that due to current exchange rates.

Swiss Arms stuff is not cheap but to me this mount is worth it.
It comes off the receiver completely and very quickly when I want to use irons (its spring loaded), its narrow so I have lots of room to reach over the top to rack the charging handle and it is much cleaner than using a pic rail.

Well I can now conclusively say it: This mount returns to zero!!

Over the course of 5 range trips I have remounted it before each shooting session and taken it off the rifle at the end of the day with no loss of zero.

I will say that after it is remounted it takes about 3-4 shots until it is completely dead nutz on again but even the first round is very close.

Very cool! Looks to be a fantastic setup. I'd love to have the chance to check it out in person.

Oh, and try Hornady Steel Match ammunition if you have the chance.

Thanks! I saw your vid using that ammo, looks promising. I'll see if I can find some out here and try it out.

Again, great post and thanks for adding the note on repeatability of mount precision when taking on and off. I will be in Zurich in the near future and intend to wander on over to The Gun Factory and pick up this mount along with other assorted accessories for my future Swiss Arms. Ya it's all backwards in buying order but the end result will no doubt be the same.
