Home made/Garage Hack 95% finisht Sako TRG 22/42 universal night sight (A/N PVS-22) , all it need is Picany rail, Crazy glue. this prototype take total of 4-6hours, next one would cut down less than 4 hours.

I had a couple of day to think about how to tackle(mount to the chassy), but it take a couple of hours on Sat and sunday.
It free float from the action to the muzzle, made from solid block.

Is a very early stage, the most important thing are the mounting of this rail to the chasy , you got to make it work first, before the look, look can come after.
Don't be so negative!, I can assure you that the final produce won't look anything plain like that one!
 
Nice work GunBoy - I just got a TRG 22 due to a very generous boss, now my TRG 42 has company, we both know factory accessories require a new mortgage.

but if its just a mount for your night sight that your looking for why not buy a factory SAKO one? aside from being very expensive and not as fun as making one your self. ellwood epps can order you one.

Final product look much nice than the Prototype, I wont be posting any picture until it is Powder coated to either Wood Color or Dark Gray.
