FYI 4-6 weeks. My rpal came faster haha but that's the way she goes.
It's interesting I faxed my LTATT in on May 18 and four days later I got a letter stating that my club membership was "missing" in the fax. So we re-faxed the application and club membership again and I called 2 weeks later and was told it would be mid July at the earliest. Amazing it takes 3 days to look at it the fax but weeks to approve it.
The hardest part my Smith & Wesson M&P 40 is paid for just sitting there waiting for me to pick her up.
apparently you need a long term before getting a short term? any word on that?
I am trying to understand this process as its my first restricted purchase. I have read a lot of information from this forum which is a help however as I understand it is as follows (bc);
-get licensed obviously
-join club ie silvercore
-buy firearm
-transfer ownership from retailer to consumer
-apply for ltatt
-once ltatt approval, ownership transfer completes
-now you can apply for statt
-p/u firearm at retailer
-wait for registration papers
final state in hard before any ranges
1 firearm, 1 ltatt, 1 registration
is that process right or am I a soup sandwich
In BC you need a LTATT before the STATT apparently. It's bass ackward if you ask me. My G4 22 is just waiting at Reliable. I want bring it home dammit. Imagine waiting for something you purchased 4 - 6 weeks after big brother says its okay. Imagine if all purchases for any merchandise was like this, or had this process..people would lose it
