Browning 725 sport and/or CZ wingshooter in Canada?

Browning 725 sport and/or CZ wingshooter
Hello fellow nutz!
I've been looking high and low for the browning citori 725 sport and the CZ wingshooter that will be (aparantly) in Saskatchewan July of next year. I'm just wondering if the 725 is anywhere out there In Canada now? If it possible to have one delivered to me? Also what is the process for ordering a gun from the states and having it delivered? Thanks for the help.
* One more thing, (I'm sure I'll get a million replies on this one!) what is the best all around multi trap/skeet shooting gun O/U out there? I'm 6'4 and don't really mind the weight or length (actually looking into 28' barrel) of the gun but I'm not crazy about spending over 3000$ either. Also an adjustable comb is a big thing instead of cramming my head down to check my bead. Ok well thanks!
 
I have seen the sporting version of the 725 at a shoot in south Alberta. It was being passed around by the Browning rep. Usually the first store to book new Browning models in Alberta is Bashaw Sports.
 
725 sporting 30" barrels its a pleasure to shoot :D

Please elaborate on the trigger malfunction you witnessed.I have 375 rounds through mine and the triggers work beautifully bottom barrel trigger is crisp and clean with a pullweight of 52 oz and the top barrel is the same at 56 oz.i would be incline to think operater error as you can still trap the trigger even though they are mechcanal.

I have seen quite a bit of operator error with mechanical triggers in general. I am not saying this was the problem with those 725 shooters but some not used to mechanical triggers never really have control of their trigger finger after the first shot. That is one of the reasons that browning designed their superposed with the inertial block to accomodate those who did not always have control.
 
Wow thanks a lot guys. This (thought to be forgotten) question really took off. But I have to ask. Am I looking for the right O/U for being a newbie? 12 gauge preferably with adjustable comb and around 3000$
 
The internal mechanisms of the trigger malfunctioned and would not fire it wasn't operator error unfortunately it was the guns. I talked to one of the gentlemen today and the dealership exchanged his with a new one. The dealership also mentioned that his was not the first to have a similar problem and that browning is aware of the problem and is dealing with the problem. That is all I know about it right now. I hope they figure it out then I hope we get more after market chokes for them and I will most likely by one but like everything wait till they get the bugs out

Well in shotguns fit is everything so don't get to hung up on brands or fancy looking guns go into a store and shoulder as many as you can. Then ask some local shooters if you can try some of there's. I know a few people that browning will never fit them but Winchester fits perfectly and there made by the same company. So I can't stress enough how important the fit is. The next big consideration is barrel length I shoot 28" in my guns however my next will be a 30" but I shoot mostly sporting and skeet. Trap shooters prefer longer barrels. 3000 is a lot of money and will certainly get you a nice shotgun but you can get the features you want for less with some other brands. I strongly recommend Winchester there excellent shotguns at a more reasonable price then browning and still take the same chokes as most Brownings. The other one to take a look at is fab arms the make a nice gun packed full of features for a excellent price.

It is hard to advise what would be right for you. Whatever you choose should be fit for you. The Browing line is quality. Right now, with the 725 being the new kid on the block, might be the time to shop around for a new 625 that may have an attrtactive discount. eg. A few weeks ago I saw a brand new 625 sporting left hand with adj. comb. Reg. price about $3500+. Sold for $2200. Keep an eye out for deals.
 
I would suggest a Browning Citori 725 field or sporting models. I was just in Fredericton, N.B on the weekend and the browning rep and atlantic distributor were both there. If you have not made a purchase yet, contact Ross and or Justin Falkner at The Gun Dealer in MacAdam, NB. (Google their website for contact information) Both are good to deal with and willl get you what you need at a fair price.
 
After shooting one and handling quite a few, I have ordered a 30 inch sporting for myself. I have decided on a non adj comb as I can have a better comb installed cheaper.
It should be here in 4 to 8 weeks.
 
Reliable Gun in Van. had a 625 and 725 both 30 in. in stock last week both nice guns 725 had nice wood,and nice triggers,snap capped it a few times.I have a 525 golden clays and it has been a great gun,have had a Cynergy mech.triggers when they first came out shot it well just could'nt get used to the ugly buttpad but liked the triggers,but really liked the 725 at Reliable
 
I have had quite a few brownings including a cynergy with one of those ugly pads. I could have handled the ugly but I could not handle not being able to change the pitch without major surgery.

Even at 6' 4" 28 foot barrels are probably too long. (Pedantic, and silly but I couldn't resist)
