Which loctite to use: BCTactical sks scout mount

After a couple hundred rounds, the rear screw on the scout mount seems to have gotten a bit loose. Which loctite should I be using to secure it?

Blue, medium strength Loc-tite.

It won't come loose due to the heat? That thing can get pretty darned hot.

I guess I'll give the blue a shot.

Blue is the one to use. It is removable with simple hand tools, and will resist the vibration caused by even the heaviest magnum loads.....

Prevents loosening of metal fasteners caused by vibrations

But the blue doesn't do anything for the heat, just vibration. The Loctite won't work very well if it is subjected to heat, and the SKSs get pretty darn hot.

Ive never had problems with blue loctite in high heat areas

It maybe tough to get out if you ever want to remove it. Blue is what I used on mine, seems to be fine even with lots of heat.

Don't use green, either. The colour is deceptive because it is the strongest one.

I know someone who used green Loctite thinking it was weaker than blue. On a M203A1.

He had to put torches to the launcher afterwards.
