Can anyone give a report from the Simpsons firearms auction yesterday?

Hi,

Did anyone attend the Simpson auction yesterday who can give us a full report? I'm very curious to know what some of the rare stuff sold for, such as the US&S, WWII M1 Carbine, Radom, ect. ect.

Also, congrats to any CGN'ers who won an item at that auction! Looked like some really cool stuff.

I would love to know what some of the stuff went for as well. I did an absentee bid for a couple of things, but no email about them yet Hopefully they are just swamped with processing everything that they just haven't had time to notify me yet!

I bet that Enfield T sniper went for a bunch!!! I would also love to know what the USS 1911 went for!

Although I'm sure most of those firearms went for top dollar, I wish I had gotten some bids in!

Maybe they will publish the final prices later? Hopefully we will find out more!

My Dad went... he said it went for over $6000, $6300 if I remember correctly.... he actually kept the handout & recorded what everything went for [he does regularly]

I'm sure a lot of guys would like to know what things went for. This may also avoid the onslaught of PM's that are going to be sent to you asking for info.

Ya the enfield sniper has matching rifle, mount and scope. Just degreased never issued.
