Well, it has been a month since I placed an order at a westerly SKS dealer. No email received with total including shipping to date.

I am looking for several as I have been successful at getting some friends interested in the sport.

Requirements:
Russian refurbs
Good shooters - no bad trigger groups, etc.
Reasonable shipping costs.
No black paint crap on either the bolt carriers or anywhere else.
Chromed bayos.

Dealers welcome.
 
If you want specifics like good triggers (good luck) and good shooters then your going to have to hand pick the rifles in person. If the triggers suck just do a trigger job, its so easy a caveman could do it. Sorry if that offends the Geico cavemen. Westrifle usually brings in pretty nice SKS', if buying in person is not an option then I would start with them. They do that "customer service" thing with the caring and words and stuff.

He post adds on the EE as dealer. He have very good prices and good service. I bought 3 sks and 1cz 858 in the Last 2 years from him. My sks are very good looking compared to some of my friends. I think he choose personally every one of them.
 
Marstar sells new Chinese versions. I bought one and it really was brand new (but old). Great service as well and if you buy a case of ammo its only $75 for the gun.

They are new and unissued military rifles with chrome lined barrels. it doesn't get any better than this. The Russian sks rifles are prettier, but if you just want a reliable shooter either will work well for tens of thousands of rounds.

The $75 deal from Marstar is a good deal providing you are local enough that the shipping doesnt kill the deal. 200 bucks for the rifle is the going rate across Canada for Chinese SKS.
