ok so lets just say i like to keep my safe on the roof is that ok?
How about in a safe, in my bathroom? If I put a lock on my fridge, can I store them in the kitchen? Would the ammo be ok in the freezer, if it had a separate lock?
can I still do the old lady if I am really thinking about my guns?
Get a portable gun "safe" (emphasis on "safe"). There's a few biometric models specifically designed and advertised as gun safes. Place your handgun and 1-2 loaded magazines inside, and you're good-to-go.
