Ok. Straight up...............

Mossberg 715 Tactical or a 10/22????

Ive got a lead on the 715 and really like what I see. The 10/22 just works great..........

In a pickle............................... Help!

Both:ar15:
:D sorry had to say it.
Seriously though, I own a Ruger and love it, but I keep
Looking at the Moss. I'll probably have to get one!

I'm sorry I can only partly agree on that.
Yes the reciver is metal but almost everyone who owns an sr-22 ends up switching out alot of the parts anyway. Something you would be doing with a stock 10/22 but at half the original price of the sr22. The sr22 is great but way over priced! If you are not going to switch any parts on the sr22 then it's perfect. If you are an upgrader just know that you'll end up with a rimfire costing well over $1000.
I have both versions of the mossy and love them. I'm selling my modded mossy for $200 on EE.

If you want the "tactical" look get the Ruger SR22, its a 10/22 with alot of the cool add ons already installed.

Made my choice! I'm in saskatoon. Went to cabelas and after handeling the 715flat top.......... sold!
A very solid feeling gun. Everything seems tight on it. The last one in stock! They have the other one with the carry handle and no one wants it! It is in my truck. After I check in pics will be up!

For $319 you can't go wrong!

Did you buy the carry handle or the flat top? The flat top is $319. The carry handle is about $275 I thought?
I'm selling my carry handle that has been chopped and now is a flat top for $200.

I hope you stripped the gun down and did a cleaning before you used it. It sorta helps if you get some crud out before you break it in. I've put about 800 rounds through my flat top and it's grouping better and better just as my carry handle version did.
Congrats on the buy!!!!!!!!!!!

:agree: Will do. Im at meetings for the rest of the week, so friday night maybe a good take down night.............:dancingbanana:

Another idea is to watch the youtube video a couple of times before to strip it down. It's abit tricky. Please remember to be gental with the bolt spring. I've heard a couple of guys break theres and I guess its a B1tch to replace.
Other than that, I hope you love this gun as much as I love mine.
I have 8 mags and a paintball drop pouch that works great for carrying them. Cost was about $12. FYI our mossy mags don't fit into AR sized mag carriers.
