Awesome! The falling plates is a coveted trophy and for you guys to beat all the army teams was pretty sweet. You did it with one guy shooting irons to boot! Well done.
Lots of personal bests shot at this match too. I know Oakie shot a high personal best(562) as well as Ian (543). Tons of people broke 500 as well. Glad to see all the training we've been doing finally paying off!

Glad everyone had a good time. Thanks again to all the sponsors everyone love all the gifts you where able to supply for the match. Finally number where 47 pistol and 92 rifle with 3 dropouts (not their fault though).

Also thank to the butt staff, stats and gate guard without you guys would be hard to run.

Congratulations to all the winners hopefully all the rain was ok for you. Should be more or it next year. Already working on my rain dance maybe that will slow down Ryan and Dave

I think your rain dance needs work mate. It worked but didn't have any effect on our shooting.

I've been trying to win Falling plates forever, so I am very happy I was on the winning team, although I think I only hit three the entire time.

That win aside I'm a little disappointed in my performance in both pistol and The rifle Individual matches. I am going to have to get my game up for NSCC in Sept.

Ah your going to NSCC! Practice up on your wind reading! Are you shooting precision rifle too?

Wind reading huh? Recommend any good books on that? I won't be shooting precision so I'll take those days to rest and train. Maybe see the war museum again. And a few other things.

Will be practicing my positional shooting lots and get back into fitness regime.

About the best book you could get is the one by Keith and Linda. w ww.milcun.com

Well NSCC is in OTTAWA at Connaught range. I think if you go to the DCRA website you should find entry forms and such. Failing that just show up and shoot it!
